Bilingualism Matters Krakow opened in September 2018. The branch is hosted by the Psychology of Language and Bilingualism Lab at the Institute of Psychology in Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland.
Branch aims
The goals of Bilingualism Matters Krakow are:
- to share the most up-to-date knowledge on bi- and multilingualism with the public, particularly with the social groups who experience the benefits and challenges of bilingualism in their everyday life
- to educate teachers and practitioners who work or are supposed to work with bilingual children and adults
- to supplement the university curriculum and provide psychology students with knowledge and skills essential for working in multicultural and multilingual society
